Monascus red is a high-grade natural red food pigment produced by using rice and soybean as raw materials by submerged fermentation and unique extraction and refining technology.
Features: This product has the advantages of high color value, good water solubility, high purity, good photo-thermal stability, wide application range of pH value (pH4-10), pure color tone and convenient use.
Properties: red or dark red liquid or powder, easily soluble in water, ethanol, ether and glacial acetic acid.
Usage: This product has good water solubility and alcohol solubility. It can be directly dissolved in water or 70% alcohol according to the required dosage, and then added to the ingredients for coloring. The dosage can be determined according to the required color tone. If it is dissolved in hot water at about 50℃, the dissolution time can be shortened. Add appropriate amount according to GB2760, please use it as soon as possible after opening or keep it sealed.

Packing: powder aluminum foil bags, 200g∕/bag, 1kg/ bag, 5kg∕/bag, packed in cartons for external use.
Liquid shall be packed in plastic drums, 1kg∕/drum and 5kg/drum, and packed in cartons for external use.
Shelf Life And Storage: it should be sealed, placed in a ventilated, cool and dry place, protected from light and heat, and prohibited from being mixed with toxic substances. Under the condition of complete packaging and unopened, the shelf life of powder is 24 months and that of liquid is 6 months.

Widely used in cured meat products, cooked meat products, egg products, condiments, jams, pickled vegetables, vegetable purees (sauces), fermented bean curd, puffed food cakes, biscuits, baked food fillings, edible surface hanging paste, concocted (refined) milk, fried nuts and seeds, flavored fermented milk, candy, instant rice flour products, food product fillings, fruit juice drinks, protein drinks and so on.
